We are looking for the best member success stories to share with the rest of the Afternic community! We want to know why your story is interesting or funny, or what you did to ensure a successful sale.
We will feature selected success stories both on our blog, and in our monthly newsletter. These stories will provide domain owners with free PR and valuable links to their currently available domains.
To top it off, if your story is selected we’ll also give you a free Featured Listing upgrade for the domain of your choice. Featured listings enjoy prime placement on Afternic’s homepage.
Simply email your success story to Kara LaMarche at klamarche@namemedia.com and include “Afternic Success Story” in the subject line. Take a look at our recent post on the sale of UI.com as an example, or simply include the following details in your email:
1. The name of the domain(s) you sold
2. The purchase and sale price, OR if you don’t want to disclose that info, the margins for which you sold it for.
3. What do you feel was the critical factor(s) for the success of this sale?
4. What is the most important lesson you have learned as a domain investor that you would share with those reading about your story?
5. How has Afternic met your needs as a domain investor and what do you feel are the major strengths of the service?
